Pesto Recipe


1 cup (chopped leaves of carrots)
1 cup basil
half a cup of olive oil
half a cup of water
half a cup of *parmesan cheese ( if you are vegan you can substitute parmesan cheese with 2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast)
half a cup of shredded nuts ( for example walnuts, pumpkin seeds, pine nuts, and sunflower seeds)
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 cloves of garlic


Mix in a food processor or blender
You can serve it on Savory Crackers or Rosemary Crackers
